 Make House Rules
I watched an organizing segment on Oprah today. And
one of the biggest things I took from it was: Make
House Rules. If everyone in the household knows the
procedure for how to handle dirty laundry, and
where is food allowed to be eaten; then your house
will feel a lot more like a home. And you can take
pride in caring for your home.

Great ideas
Hi Chasity, I was at the Safety Harbor Mops
(Mothers of Preschoolers meeting) where you
talked about organizing, and you really inspired
me. I especially liked your ideas about sorting
mail (next to the trashcan!) and finding
a 'home' for everything so as to stay
organized. I also decided to incorporate
your 'one in, one out' rule for my kids' toys
and clothes (when you get something new, you
need to give something away to make room for the
new item.) I just moved in to an apartment
three weeks ago and with a husband and three
kids, I need to be extra-organized. I am
working on finding homes for all our belongings,
and helping all of us to be more organized.
